VOTED BEST 2018 PRESCHOOL In Monmouth County 3rd Year

What does it take to be voted the BEST PRESCHOOL in Monmouth County year after year when there are so many choices? Visit Seashore Preschool and you will see why. Winning the 2018 Asbury Park Press “BEST OF THE BEST” Readers Choice Award for Preschool/Childcare — the seventh consecutive distinction in that category, Seashore has been picking up children at their doors and taking them where they need to go academically, physically and socially for 46 years.

An Entire Campus For Three-Year-Olds – With An Indoor Pool, Gym & Playground
To start our youngest students on the right foot, we offer the most well-rounded, progress program you will find anywhere — with unique features that make learning fun and provide more for your money than any other school or day care center. Seashore is the only preschool that provides an entire campus for three-year-olds with bright classrooms, music room, art studio, science lab, gym, indoor heated pool and playground. While the campus is large, our family atmosphere and small class size help preschoolers feel comfortable as they make the transition from home to school. And, while our “campus approach” may sound big for children so little, giving youngsters a chance to move from one type of educational activity to another during the day provides variety, keeps the schedule interesting and breaks up the routine so they don’t get restless. It also allows them to release energy in a positive way no matter what the weather.

Our Curriculum Goes Beyond The Classroom And Way Beyond The Basics
Structured to develop cognitive, motor and socialization skills, the program incorporates a wide range of fun activities that help three-year-olds learn to listen, follow directions and begin to solve problems. The curriculum goes way beyond colors, shapes, numbers and letters. It includes beginning technology with Promethean ACTIVboards, introduction to Spanish and hands-on experiments in the science lab, where children discover why clouds move, why things sink or float, why seasons change, how plants grow, how to mix colors and how to make bath salts. Along with academics, students make art projects, take music with a guitar playing teacher to prepare for large-scale shows and go on field trips to places like orchards, where they pick apples used to make applesauce and other treats. Boys and girls also participate in physical education – where they master the eye-hand coordination, dexterity and gross motor abilities needed to hit balls off a tee, shoot baskets and scale a six-foot super climber taller than their high energy gym coach.  What’s more, young students discover how to do their part to help others by singing at senior rehab centers and raising money for the Jacqueline Wilentz Breast Center, pediatric cancer foundations, FulFill FoodBank, Lunch Break and more.

The Program Makes A Splash With Extras Like Year Round Swim Lessons
In addition, preschoolers learn to swim in a three-foot indoor heated pool small enough and warm enough to help them get comfortable in the water. Starting with floats we manufacture and progressing to kickboards, lessons are so successful most swim by the end of the year.

Preschoolers Also Flip For Gymnastics
To complete the schedule, there is even gymnastics with a line of Action Mats, First Step Trainers and X-Rollers that literally roll beginners through the basics and tumbling routines. Parents and children are head over heels for this activity, because it improves posture, grace, balance and strength, and offers an early sense of self-discipline and confidence – qualities all boys and girls need to succeed.

Classes Are Offered In A Variety Of Schedules
For your convenience, classes are available in a variety of half and full-day sessions that accommodate your needs, schedule and budget.
